Abstract

Digital marketing has become a fundamental tool for the commercialization of products and services today. This paper focused on analyzing the importance of digital marketing in the commercialization of products, identifying its advantages,
disadvantages and strategies. To do this, a literature review was carried out that allowed us to identify that digital marketing offers several advantages, including the possibility of reaching a global audience, access to data analysis tools and the personalization of the user experience. However, it also presents some disadvantages such as the saturation of information in the market and the need to maintain a constant technological update. Regarding the strategies, the use of social networks, email marketing, SEO and online advertising stand out. The search methodology was carried out through the consultation of various online sources, such as specialized
databases, scientific journals and electronic books. The results indicated that digital marketing is essential for companies that want to stand out in an increasingly competitive market, in which an online presence is essential. Likewise, the importance of adapting digital marketing strategies to the specific needs and characteristics of each company, as well as its target audience, was highlighted. It was
concluded that digital marketing offers great opportunities for companies, but that a deep and updated knowledge of the tools and strategies used in this field is necessary, as well as constant innovation and adaptation to technological and market changes.
