Sustainable Economic Growth through Biotechnology in Agribusiness: An Analysis of Business Management

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze sustainable economic growth in agro-industry through the use of biotechnology and business management. A qualitative methodology was used that included a comprehensive review of literature specializing in economics, biotechnology, business management and sustainable development, as well as consultation with government sources, reports from international organisations and sectoral policy documents. The results revealed the importance of considering ethical, environmental and economic aspects in the integration of biotechnology in agribusiness management to promote sustainable practices. Emerging trends and key areas for future research were identified, highlighting the need for strategies and policies that promote equitable and environmentally friendly economic growth in the agro-industrial sector.
