Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have transformed the way in which face-to-face education is taught and learned. This research analyzes the influence of ICT in face-to-face education, identifying the benefits and challenges that teachers and students face in the educational process. In this research, a documentary research methodology was used to collect information from relevant academic sources and the data was analyzed using a qualitative approach. The discussion focuses on different aspects of the influence of ICT on face-to-face education, including the use of technology in the classroom, the creation of multimedia educational materials, collaborative learning and the personalization of learning. Additionally, the challenges that teachers and students face when using ICT in face-to-face education are discussed, including the need for training, the availability of resources, and resistance to change. It is concluded that ICT has great potential to improve face-to-face education, but that it is necessary to address the challenges faced by teachers and students. The implementation of educational policies and strategies that promote the integration of ICT in face-to-face education and the training and training of teachers in the effective use of ICT is recommended.
